Financial Matters

In 2007, the Arnold Clark Organisation achieved a turnover of £2,083 million, resulting in profit before tax of £70.1 million. Despite a general reduction in the new car market throughout the UK, we are pleased to report another successful year for the group with turnover increasing by 11.2%.

Review of Arnold Clark Vehicle Management
Arnold Clark Vehicle Management again showed strong growth in turnover which increased by 5.7% to £132.7 million.

Due to the continued consolidation of the larger contract hire and leasing companies, we feel our high level of personal service leaves us very well positioned in the market.
